Meet Jess
Hi, I’m Jess! As a doula, I strive to be the steady compass through the unpredictable journey of parenthood. I offer professional, evidence-based support grounded in comprehensive training with Doula School International and enriched by mentorship from industry leaders.
My own two unique birth and postpartum experiences have shown me that no two babies, and no two families, are the same. This understanding shapes my commitment to delivering individualized, research-driven care that fosters confidence, clarity, and calm. My role is to be the mom best friend you need. Offering informed guidance, unwavering support, and a compassionate presence every step of the way.
Your body is remarkable. Your instincts are wise. And even on the messy days, you’re doing beautifully. Whether you need lactation support, a crash course in baby care, or simply a well-earned nap and a clean kitchen, I’m here to be your steady compass through it all.

My Birth Story
I’ve always believed that no two birth stories are the same, and I should know, because mine couldn’t have been more different if they tried.
My first son was an IVF baby, lovingly conceived after several failed attempts and countless needles. His birth involved every medical intervention possible, ending in an emergency caesarean and a stay in the NICU. I was grateful he was safe, but I was also physically and emotionally drained, struggling with breastfeeding and the mountain of expectations I’d placed on myself.
In desperation (and maybe a little sleep deprivation), I reached out to a postpartum doula. She showed up with empathy, not judgment. She reminded me to rest, helped me breathe, and held space for me when I didn’t even know I needed it.
Once I softened, so did my baby. He finally latched and I finally exhaled. That moment changed everything.
When I became pregnant again (spontaneously, because life has a sense of humour), I approached it differently. With the help of a doula, I learned about pain management, labour positions, and the power of trusting my body. I went on to have a successful VBAC, and although it wasn’t picture-perfect (these babies have their own plans), I felt strong, proud, and peaceful.
Those two births, one full of interventions, one full of empowerment, shaped the heart of my work today.
